No! While Active Chair Aerobics is the perfect activity for seniors, it is also excellent therapy for anyone experiencing mobility, joint, and/or balance issues. Moreover it is the ideal exercise for people with loss of limb(s), in a wheel chair, on crutches, and/or using a walker. Simply put chair aerobics provides the lowest impact while working out as well as being the most effective method to minmize the risk associated with exercising.

How does it work?

The most important concept of active chair aerobics is that all exercises are performed while in a seated position, which reduces stress to the body. The seated position allows the core of the body to strengthen while still burning an ample amount of calories. The exercises performed may include seated marching, seated toe taps, seated leg raises, seated punches, seated knee lifts, and countless other exercise moves that can be successfully and safely performed from the support of a sturdy chair.

Active chair aerobics is inclusive for all ages. The endless benefits of participating in an active chair aerobics class includes improved flexibility and range of motion, increased endurance, and improved balance and circulation. Classes can be booked as one-one-on private sessions or group sessions where Golden Groove Fit comes to your location for added convenience.

Tone and Step Aerobics

Get ready to sweat and feel the burn! Past participants have exclaimed that they’ve never experienced a workout that was so intense while at the same time so satisfying. Tone and Step Aerobics, when executed correctly, can speed up weight loss on a tremendous level when paired with a well balance diet, of course.

Tone and Step Aerobics provides the ultimate way to tighten and lift your glutes and slim down your hamstrings all while strengthening your core and improving your cardiovascular fitness. These benefits are achieved through a choreographed high intensity routine of steps performed on and off the step platform. Golden Groove incorporates HIIT into tone and step aerobics by alternating between floor routines, bench routines, and combination routines.

Sessions

 We can book private one-on-one sessions as well as group sessions.  Golden Groove Fit provides all participants with a step platform to utilize for their booked session(s).
 
A waiver of liability is required prior to participating in any Tone and Step Aerobics class.
